General information
Articles in our blog and the guides on this site are published for general interest. They are not professional advice — medical, nutritional, legal or environmental — and should not be relied on as such. Where a post describes one of our products, treat it as a description of what we sell, not a promise that it will produce a particular result for you.
Products and natural materials
Many of our goods are made from natural materials — jute, bamboo, cotton, cane, soapnut, coconut shell — and frequently by hand. Colour, grain, weave, size and finish therefore vary from piece to piece, and small irregularities are a property of the material rather than a defect. Photographs are taken of real stock but cannot show every variation. The dimensions and weights stated on a product page are the ones we ship.
Environmental claims
We describe our products as eco-friendly, reusable, biodegradable or plastic-free on the basis of information supplied by the manufacturers who make them. These descriptions are made in good faith. We do not independently laboratory-test every product, and we do not claim that buying any single item will offset carbon, save a stated quantity of waste, or deliver a measurable environmental benefit. Whether something is recyclable or compostable in practice depends on the facilities available where you live.
Legal declarations govern
Where Indian law requires a declaration — net quantity, maximum retail price, name and address of the manufacturer or packer, country of origin, batch or date of manufacture — that declaration appears on the product page and on your tax invoice. If anything elsewhere on this site differs from the legally required declaration, the declaration is what counts. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules are not affected by anything on this page.
Personal care and garden products
Our personal care and garden items are not medicines or pesticides, and are not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Read the ingredient list before use, follow the maker's instructions, and stop using the product if irritation occurs — with natural ingredients, testing a small area first is always sensible. If you are pregnant, nursing, treating a skin condition, or buying for a child, consult a doctor before use.
Third-party links
Our posts sometimes link outward — to a manufacturer's own site, a news report, a government resource. We link because the source is useful, not because we control what is on it. A link is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for content that changes after we have linked to it.
Website availability
We work to keep the store running, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of every incorrect price or description. We may correct errors and cancel affected orders, refunding you in full — this is covered in section 2 of our Terms.
Errors and omissions
We take care with what we publish. Even so, a page may contain a typo, a stale figure or a claim that has since been superseded. Tell us through the Contact page and we will correct it promptly.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this disclaimer limits or excludes any right you have as a consumer under the laws of India, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Where any part of this page conflicts with a mandatory statutory right, the statutory right applies. This page is governed by the laws of India with the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Delhi, on the same basis as our Terms & Conditions.
